1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the website or related resources, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or resources.
2. Website and documentation
We provide product information, documentation, downloads, and support resources for general informational and operational purposes. You are responsible for evaluating instructions in your own hosting and WordPress environment.
3. Software licences
The BackupFlow plugin, this WordPress theme, and bundled third-party components may be distributed under separate licences. Each licence file or notice controls the relevant component. The theme is provided under the GNU General Public License, while bundled libraries retain their stated licences.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your WordPress installation, hosting account, credentials, content, users, legal compliance, and selected storage services.
- Maintain authorised access controls
- Protect passwords and cloud credentials
- Review available disk space and hosting limits
- Test restoration in a staging or disposable environment
- Avoid restoring production data while orders or submissions are active
5. Backup and restoration risk
Backup and restoration operations can replace files or database content. No backup should be treated as proven until it has been successfully restored and verified. Keep more than one copy and maintain an off-site copy where appropriate.
6. Third-party services
WordPress, hosting providers, FTP servers, Google Drive, repositories, and other external services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party availability, changes, charges, or data handling.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, remove, or change website features, documentation, downloads, or support processes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every hosting configuration.
8. Support
Support may be provided according to the channel, scope, and availability stated on the website or plugin listing. Support does not include responsibility for unrelated hosting, security, custom code, or third-party failures unless expressly agreed.
9. Intellectual property
Names, trademarks, branding, documentation, and original website content remain the property of their respective owners. Open-source licences grant only the rights stated in those licences.
10. Disclaimer
The website, documentation, theme, and software are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that cannot be reasonably guaranteed, including uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, or error-free recovery.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BackupFlow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost data, revenue, business, or opportunities arising from use of the website, documentation, theme, plugin, or third-party services.
12. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for claims arising from your unlawful use, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or misuse of credentials, archives, or systems.
13. Termination
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, systems, legal rights, or compliance obligations. Provisions that should survive termination will continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to BackupFlow, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply in your location. Insert your registered jurisdiction in the theme settings or legal review before production launch.
15. Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions can be sent to hello@backupflow.cloud.
