One recovery workflow

Back up confidently. Recover deliberately.

BackupFlow keeps the decisions clear before, during, and after every backup or restore.

Backup

Capture the whole site or only what changed.

Create a complete recovery point, save site files only, or export only the WordPress database before a risky change.

  • Full, files-only, and database-only modes
  • Preflight checks before processing
  • Live progress and clear completion status

From zero to protected

A recovery point in four clear steps.

BackupFlow guides administrators through the decisions that matter without burying them in infrastructure terminology.

Open the quick-start guide
  1. 01

    Choose what to protect

Select the complete site, files only, or database only.

  2. 02

    Choose where it lives

Save the archive on the website server or send a copy to a configured remote destination.

  3. 03

    Review safety checks

Resolve blocking requirements and review warnings before starting.

  4. 04

    Verify the recovery point

Confirm the archive appears in the library and check the remote copy or downloaded file.

Choose where recovery lives

Keep one copy nearby. Keep another somewhere else.

Combine fast local recovery with an off-site destination to reduce a single point of failure.

01

Website Server

Create a local archive for immediate download and in-dashboard restore operations.

Available immediately
02

FTP

Send an additional copy to a remote server or managed storage account.

Configurable destination
03

Google Drive

Connect a Drive account and keep recovery copies outside the hosting environment.

Configurable destination

Built around recovery safety

Powerful operations, guarded by default.

BackupFlow adds clear safeguards around archives, administrator actions, restore preparation, and destination handling.

Administrator-only operations

Backup, restore, settings, downloads, and deletion remain restricted to authorised administrators.

Protected storage paths

BackupFlow keeps archives inside dedicated protected locations and validates file operations.

Restore preparation

Optional safety backups and configuration protection reduce avoidable recovery mistakes.

Clear operational logs

Live progress messages help identify whether a problem relates to files, database, upload, storage, or restore.

Documentation that travels

Six languages. Zero translation APIs.

Every homepage, documentation, privacy, and terms view uses static translations embedded in the theme. No Google Translate and no browser auto-translation.

Open and inspectable

A modern website stack you can own completely.

The WordPress theme, templates, structured data, static translations, and design system are editable. Three.js and GSAP are bundled locally with licence notices.

Is BackupFlow free?

Yes. BackupFlow includes manual backup, restore, migration, Website Server storage, FTP, and Google Drive functionality.

Can BackupFlow restore any ZIP file?

No. The archive must be a compatible ZIP created by BackupFlow.

Can I move a site to another domain?

Yes. Restore a compatible archive on the destination WordPress installation and complete the migration verification steps.

Does uninstalling remove backup files?

Backup archives are intentionally preserved so they are not silently destroyed when the plugin is removed.

Should I keep an off-site copy?

Yes. A remote or downloaded copy helps when the website server itself becomes unavailable or damaged.

Does the website use Google Translate?

No. All six website and documentation languages are embedded static translations and do not use a translation API or browser auto-translation.
